Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, mash 3 ripe bananas until smooth with a few small lumps.

Add melted butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla extract. Mix until fully combined.

In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.

Add dry ingredients into the wet mixture. Stir gently until just combined. Do not overmix.

Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.

Bake for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean from the center.

Cool for 10–15 minutes, then remove from pan and slice.
